Mission Bells California Poppy - Eschscholzia Californica - Annual Flower - 200 Seeds

 Mission Bells California Poppy is a classic variety of the fabled California Poppy bearing bright double flowers that are a mix of scarlet, gold, pink and white. Very easy to grow from seed. Eschscholzia blooms profusely on 50cm (20in) plants from mid summer until frosts. They should be grown in full sun, to encourage blooming as the flowers will not open in shade. Perfect for ground cover or in a natural cottage garden type setting, they should be sown directly as they will not tolerate being transplanted. Grown en masse, with the fine dissected foliage making a tangle of stems, they are fascinating to the eye and are breath-taking in massed plantings or containers. The flowers are extremely attractive to bees and butterflies.
